The Mosquito is the biggest killer of people on earth. Diseases transmitted by mosquitoes include malaria, dengue, West Nile virus, chikungunya, yellow fever, filariasis, tularemia, dirofilariasis, Japanese encephalitis, Saint Louis encephalitis, Western equine encephalitis, Eastern equine encephalitis, Venezuelan equine encephalitis, Ross River

The current method for protecting people from mosquitoes in their dwelling is to spray a World Health Organisation Approved insecticide. This is called IRS (indoor residual spraying). One of the most effective and lowest toxicity insecticides that is commonly used in IRS, is Lambda cyhalothrin. Vectorcide Protect Coating uses the same grade Lambda cyhalothrin but in a very different formulation and using a unique delivery mechanism, with less chemical, sealed inside a coating.
Vectorcide is a paint-like product with easy application. It dries and forms a thin, elasticated polymer coating that uses mico-encapsulated active ingredients to ensure that the mosquito will land and rest on the

Vectorcide Shield is a paint-like coating that is easily applied to walls and ceilings. Once applied the unique technology in the paint repels mosquitoes effectively.
Micro-capsules are formulated to only break when the mosquito “tramples” on the surface and its tiny ‘pin-like’ legs puncture the micro capsule cell wall.
Once the capsules break, a number of our IP protected ingredients are released which allow immediate penetration of the active ingredient onto and into the insect, and not the environment. The mosquito becomes confused and disorientated thus prevented from biting you. It will either leave the room immediately or be prevented from entering the room.
